- A Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds with your vehicle's clear coat, creating an extremely hard, slick, and hydrophobic nano-layer. Its primary job is to provide extreme gloss, chemical resistance (to bird droppings, acid rain), and make the vehicle incredibly easy to clean.

This is a valid concern based on older, inferior technologies. Modern, professional-grade films like those we use at Auto Extreme are optically clear and will not alter your paint's appearance.
